The Strange Case of the Sushi Pack

"Suhsi Pack" is a kid's cartoon about crime-fighting anthropomorphic sushi that aired from 2007-2009 on CBS, with two seasons of 52 11-minute episodes.
Now, I did not watch this show as a kid. I exclusively played the online flash games, and proceeded to invent elaborate mental scenarios involving them. But, why WERE there flash games for such an obscure cartoon anyway?

These colorful characters appeared on everything from lunch boxes to greeting cards, and I’ve decided to try and catalogue it all. There’s little documentation online, so I may as well compile what I can find.

Here's the thing-

The sushi pack was produced in association with American Greetings, who handled the licensing for the characters. This explains the abundance of merchandise. The character concepts, designs, and show itself were created and iterated upon by many people.
